Feeling of Spring CAL – Part 5, row 56 – 67

del5

I saw a butterfly in my garden the other day, birds are singing and flowers are in bloom. Spring is for sure here! In this part we’ll make our table runner a little longer by adding another thin line of dots and one more stripe of lace.

For links to other parts of the CAL and information about materials and colors, please see the introduction and material post.

General

  • Turn your work after each row. When you crochet odd rows you have the right side of the work facing you and when you crochet even rows you have the wrong side facing you.
  • The first chain or chains on each round does not count as a stitch.
  • Join the round with a sl st in the first st of the round if nothing else is described.
  • Crochet through both loops of a stitch if nothing else is described.
  • Crochet first and last stitch on rows crocheted in blo or flo through both loops to get more stable edges.
  • Remember to check your stitch cound now and then. There are always 85 stitched on rows containing one stitch type only.
