Tiny Sparkling Stars

 

These tiny sparkling crochet stars are super quick and easy to make. In no time at all you will have a whole bunch of them. Perfect as decorations for New Years Eve!

MATERIAL

Yarn: Miniakryl Metallic , Acrylic yarn with glitter.
Hook: 2.5 mm
Approximate size: 4 cm

 

ABBREVIATIONS, US CROCHET TERMS

st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet

 

DESCRIPTION

Start with a magic ring.

Round 1:
5 sc in the magic ring. Join round with a sl st.

Round 2:
(ch 4,  sl st in 2:nd st from hook, 1 dc in the st from where you started your ch 4, ch 2, sl st in next st) repeat 5 times. And you are done!

 

BLOCKING

To get a nicer shape your stars need some blocking. Soak your stars in water. Pin it in the desired shape on to a blocking board or whatever blocking device that you use, let it dry.
