Feeling of Spring CAL – Part 1, Row 1 – 12

del1

It’s finally time for part 1 of the Feeling of Spring CAL. I hope that you are as excited as me and that you will get some lovely crochet hours during the next 2 weeks 🙂 . It might even be possible to sit outside and crochet while enjoying the spring sun!?

The table runner in Feeling of Spring CAL is crocheted from the middle and will grow in two directions for each new part. In this part we will start by making a stripe of lace surrounded by solid sections of the background color.

For information about materials and colors, please see the introduction and material post.

Turn your work around and hold it with the wrong side facing you. Crochet round 6 in the middle loop on the back of the foundation chain (see image below). If you’re not sure which is the wrong side of your work then take a look at row 5. On the right side of your work there is a clearly defined line from the back loops (which we did not crochet through) on row 5.

Part 1 of Feeling of Spring Cal are now finished!
