Abbreviations (US Terms)

Special stitches
v-stitch (vst): A v-stitch is two double crochet woth a chain in between them. Both double crochet are worked in the same stitch and will then form a v.
When working into a v-stitch you crochet around the chain in the middle of the stitch.
Double crochet 2 together (dc2tog): Yarn over, insert hook in first st, pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through 2 loops. Yarn over, insert in next st, pull up a loop (4 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through 2 loops (3 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through last 3 loops.
Symbols
** – Repeat instructions between asterisks the amount of times specified.
() – Instructions inside parenthesis are made in the same stitch.
General Information
- Turn your work after each row.
- The first chain or chains on each round does not count as a stitch.
- Color changes are done by making the last pull through of the stitch before the color change with the new color.
- If the stitch to work in is a chain, crochet around the chain.

Row 1:
ch 5, make 1 dc in the first ch.
Row 2:
Ch 2 , make (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch-5.
Row 3:
ch 2 , dc2tog, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch-2, dc2tog.
Row 4:
ch 2, dc2tog, 1 dc in each st until ch-2, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) i 2-lmb, 1 dc in each st until 2 st left on row , dc2tog.
Row 5-6: Repeat row 4 twice.
Row 7:
ch 2, dc2tog, *ch 1, sk 1 st, 1 dc in next st*, repeat until st before ch-2.
ch 1, (1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc) in ch-2, ch 1, 1 dc in next st, *ch 1, sk 1 st, 1 dc in next st* repeat until 3 sts left on row. ch 1, sk 1 st, dc2tog.
Row 8:
ch 2, dc2tog, *1 dc in next st, ch 1, sk 1 st*, repeat until st before ch-2. 1 dc in st before ch-2, ch 1, (1 dc, ch 2 , 1 dc) in ch-2, ch 1, 1 dc in next st, *ch 1, sk 1 st, 1 dc in next st* repeat until 2 sts left on row. dc2tog.
Row 9-10: Repeat row 7-8
Row 11: Repeat row 7
Row 12:
ch 2, dc2tog, 1 dc in each st until ch-2 , (2 dc, ch 2 , 2 dc) in ch-2, 1 dc in each st until 2 sts left on row, dc2tog.
Row 13-14: Repeat row 12 twice.
[Row 14: 14 sts on each side of ch-2]
Change to color B!
Row 15:
ch 1, make 1 sc in each st until ch-2, ch 2, sk ch-2, make 1 sc in each st until end of row.
Row 16:
ch 2, dc2tog, ch 1, sk 2 st, 1 vst in next st *ch 1, sk 3 st, 1 vst in next st* repeat until 1 st before ch-2. Sk 1 st, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch-2.
Sk 1 st, *1 vst in next st, ch 1, sk 3 st* repeat until 2 st left on row, dc2tog.
Row 17:
ch 2, dc2tog, *1 vst in next, ch 1* repeat until last vst before ch-2.
ch 1, sk 2 st, (1 vst, ch 2, 1 vst) in ch-2. *ch 1, 1 vst in next vst* repeat until last vst on row. dc2tog.
Row 18:
ch 2, dc2tog, ch 1, 1 dc in next st, *ch 1, 1 vst in next vst* repeat until ch-2. (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch-2, *1 vst in next vst, ch 1* repeat until 1 vst left on row. 1 dc in last vst, ch 1, dc2tog.
Varv 19:
ch 2, dc2tog, ch 1, 1 dc in next st, *ch 1, 1 vst in next vst* repeat until last vst before ch-2. ch 1, sk 2 st, (1 vst, ch 2, 1 vst) in ch-2, *ch 1, 1 vst in next vst* repeat until last vst on row. ch 1, 1 dc in next st, dc2tog.
Row 20:
ch 2, dc2tog, *ch 1, 1 vst in next vst* repeat until ch-2. (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch-2, *1 vst in next vst, ch 1* repeat until 3 sts left on row. Sk 1 st, dc2tog.
Row 21-22: Repeat row 17-18
Row 23:
ch 2, dc2tog, 1 dc in each st until ch-2, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch-2, 1 dc in each st until 2 sts left on row, dc2tog.
[Row 23: 22 sts on each side of ch-2]
Row 24-31: Repeat row 16-23
