MATERIAL
Yarn: Reko Cotton (100% recycled cotton)
For this project I had 9 balls from the start ( 3 nature (24201), 2 black (24202), 1 Beige (24206), 1 Lagoon Green (24212), 1 Yellow (24218), 1 Light grey (24204).
I’ve finished approximately 7-8 balls for the whole table runner.
Hook: 4,0 mm
Scissors and a needle for fastening ends.
Size: My table runner is about 35 cm wide and 85 cm long. You can easily make it bigger by adding more rows or by adding more stitches to the starting chain.
ABBREVIATIONS (US TERMS)
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
ch-1 – chain with 1 stitch
DESCRIPTION
Start by making 82 ch. Do not crochet to tight on the starting chain to prevent your work from curling later on.
Round 1:
Start in 3:rd chain from hook. *1 sc, ch 1, skip 1 st*, repeat * -* until you have made 1 sc in the last ch. Turn your work.
Round 2 and forward:
Ch 2. *Make 1 sc in next ch-1, ch 1*, repeat * -* until you have made 1 sc in the last ch. Turn your work.
Continue until you are happy with the length of your table runner. Fasten off and weave in the ends!
Color change:
Fasten the new color with a sl st in the last sc on last round when changing color. Continue as before by first ch 2, 1 sc in next ch-1 etc..
COLORS AND STRIPES
It is of course possible to vary the colors and stripe pattern on this table runner. To make parts with thin stripes in 2 colors you need to make each other round with each of the 2 colors. Follow the color code below if you’d want exactly the same colors and stipes as me.

Hi there!
I am looking to make this beautiful table runner but I can’t purchase the same brand of yarn you suggested. Is there another brand you recommend? Also, I want to be sure I’m purchasing the right amount. Do you know what the weight of the skein you used was? Thank you in advance! 🙂

Hi! You can read the details about the yarn I used here: https://www.jarbo.se/en/yarn/reko-bomull-50g.html
It’s an aran weight cotton yarn. I believe that any Aran weight cotton yarn is fine to use.
